Arduino: Active Model Rocket Stabilisation
This is a prototype Arduino based Active Model Rocket Stabilisation system built by me.
The idea behind the design is to keep any model rocket that is fitted with this system vertical and stable during flight. Currently only one servo and fin are installed but later, there will be three or even 4 fins incorporated into the prototype to ensure the rocket remains stable in all aspects during flight.
WARNING: It is illegal in most places I can think of to add any form of stabilisation or guidance to any kind of “rocket”, “missile” or anything that could be considered either. Therefore this is only a technical exercise and will not be deployed for use in a live flight. For the same reason, I am unable to provide any schematics, diagrams or code for this project as this constitues supplying arms in the form of guidance systems. Please do not ask me how I did this or for any information as requests will be refused.
